I don't wanna be rude, but the song wasn't really suitable for montages, the gameplay seemed like it wasn't that extraordinary either (although I don't play RDR, so I'm not sure) and the editing was minimal :s Besides, most kills were from behind or unexpected :s I'm not saying it was incredibly bad or something, but it doesn't even tip something that I'd label an average montage these days 
EDIT: There are several things you can do to improve your montages. Try finding a good editor (it's pretty rare for the player and the editor to be the same person these days) and watch some other good montages at HazardCinema or TopNotchMultimedia ^_^
